video plays fine on projector but dissapears on my laptop

HI,

I've been searching this forum for similar problems. Everyone seems to have
the opposite problem to me - they can see it on the laptop but not on the
projector. I can see it fine on the projector but its black on the laptop.

the usual answer seems to be:

Does this have any relevance to me and my problem? It only seems to happens
with windows media. I was thinking it may be a windows media player issue...?
