Visio graphics problem

I have 2 co-workers who share Visio files, both use Visio 2003. One
particular file has an embedded .jpg file that appears normal to one person
and zoomed in (meaning the graphic takes up the same amount of space on the
page, but it is larger and only a small portion of it shows) to the other
person.

After experimenting we found that replacing the cmyk version of the jpg with
an rgb version seems to fix the problem. Does anyone out there have any idea
why this might happen to one person but not the other and how Visio reads rgb
vs. cmyk? I'm not only trying to understand but also trying to make sure it
doesn't happen again. The only noticible difference between the two
computers is that one has Photoshop installed and the other doesn't.

Thanks in advance.

Visio doesn't understand CMYK, so if the Photoshop application is changing
the stored value in some way, that could be a problem.

I'm not clear on how the stored drawing is changed by simply opening the
file on each computer. Or is this occurring after each user inserts the
image on their respective computers? I don't have Photoshop to test with.
