Weird characters keep coming up on my emails ()

This weird symbol keeps coming up when I create a new email, but only if I
open a new email with my signature.

When I right click on this symbol () and select View Source, it pops up a
notepad with the following:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1586" name=GENERATOR></HEAD>
<BODY>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1586" name=GENERATOR>
<DIV align=left><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV align=left><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT><FONT face=Arial
size=2></FONT> </DIV>

HOW DO i GET RID OF THIS?

I do not see that symbol in the HTML source you show below. What version
of Outlook is this? Or is it Outlook Express?

it's at
<DIV> </DIV>I»¿

It's a fairly common problem with some stationeries.
