I am on a lan enviroment. When I try to open a word document from a share,
microsoft word will crashed giving me a " winword.exe error. I looked up Dr.
watson and it reported : Application exception occurred:
App: (pid=1284)
When: 1/25/2005 @ 06:28:13.226

I noticed that if I opened word application first and the browse to the

I have tried unistalling, dectect and repair and appliyng all service packs

hi ,just check for the printer defaults,it should be a local
printerassigned as default, sometimes you cant open office from network
in that case u should copy your file into u r system and open it,or
else just from that version of office and install an other version of
the office...that might maximum solve your problem....bye

I have delete all my printers, and unfortunately I am running office xp and I
can't use any other office product because is part of our network. Also, I am
working with multiples word files over different share drives and it very
time consuming to save those files to the local drive and then transferred to
the share.
any advice.
