I have Outlook 2002. The rest of my office suite is Office 2002. When I
try to send an e-mail directly from word I get the error message: "Word
could not load the e-mail envelope. THis could be caused be caused by a
network connection problem or a problem problem with your Office
Installation. I note Article ID 829061 dated Sept 1, 2004 refers to Word
2003. I assume the same applies to Word 2002. The cause is (1)"Not to use
Outlook COM add-in or the VBA code that is causing the message box to appear
when Outlook 2003 starts; (2) You implemented a Microsoft Outlook Visual
Basic Application (VBA code that displays a message box in the
Application_Startup event. The workaround is (1) To Startup Outlook 2003
before you try to send a e-mail message from Word 2003 (2002 in my case)"
which doesn't resolve the issue or (2) do not use the Outlook COM add-in or
the VBA code that is causing the message box to appear when Outlook 2003
stats. I do not know how to implement workaround 2.
