Word not picking up secondary excel identifiers (Alphanumerical numbers)

S

Stuart Perkins

In the billing of a customer they may have more than one Alphanumerical number attached to their account billing identifier so there needs to be more than one Alphanumerical number in the excel mail merge spreadsheet.
For example:

87N23042 Hall Enterprises 1,500 kWh $600.00
0 Hall Enterprises 500 kWh $200.00

Where it should be picking up:
87N23042 Hall Enterprises 1,500 kWh $600.00
87N33397 Hall Enterprises 500 kWh $200.00
I have tried simple formatting of the Alphanumerical as a number but that doesn't work.
Some help would be good...!

Cheers,
Stuart
