Word table truncating in Landscape leaving blank on right

Lyndy Lou

In word XP I create a 7 col table in landscape A4.Set to AutoFit window. However it only fills page to 15cm (the portrait setting) and leaves a big gap on right hand side. The cells are cut off on the right. I have checked the margins etc but and they are set to 2.54cm so it isn't this. I found a workaround by creating the table and then changing table properties to text wrapping /around/ positioning relative to margin. This works but I can't find anywhere to set the table properties default.

However I checked on another computer and there is no problem with the table and the settings are the same as the ones causing the problem. Any ideas - thanks in advance

G'Day Lindy,
I am not quite sure what your goal is.
The 'AutoFit Window' creates a Table that, IF you
save the document as XML/HTML AND publish
it to the Web, the resulting Table will adjust itself to
the Browser Window.
If you simply need a DOCUMENT with a Table, use
"Fixed Column Width" and 'Auto'
