.xls 2000 crash in 2003

Hi all,
First sorry but i speak not very well english.
When I try to open with Excel 2003 sp3 documents created with Excel 2000 I
cant see them.
"Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close".
I try to repair the document but it dont works.
This happens with some documents and not with all.
Can anyone help me please?

I suspect you may need to do some repair work using Excel 2000 (espacially the
HTML route listed at the bottom of thepage).

Hi Jan,
Finally the problem as solved.
I have open the files with excel 2000, save to html file, open another time
and save to .xls file.
After this the file works in excel 2003.
