I get this message when I am attatching my resume to an email.

"You Cannot close Microsoft Office Word because a dialog box is open. Click
OK and switch to Word, and then close the diolog box."

I've had this computer and the programs on it for a year and this just
started. What do you think is going on?

The most common cause of this error is Norton Anti Virus - specifically the
Office Plug-in option in NAV. If this is applicable this problem, open NAV
and disable the Plug-in.

Terry, the message you sent doesn't make sense to me. I dont have Norton Anti
Virus. I have AVG. Its by Grissoft (I opened AVG. It doesnt say Norton on it
anywhere.) I don't know what or where a NAV is nor how to disable it.

Obviously if you have AVG, you don't have NAV.

How are you attaching your resume to an email? DO you get the same problem
in Safe Mode? From Start, Run, type in

winword /a

and press enter. Now try emailing your resume. Does it work in Safe Mode?

Thank you Terry for responding but you are not responding in a way that I can
use the information you are giving me. Thanks for trying.
