We have a few users working for 1 client. The client sends about 10
emails/day. Out of those 10 emails, everyone can open 8 fine, 2 emails
sent by the client will crash Entourage for these users.
Users experiencing this issue are using Entourage 11.2.1. We are
testing 11.2.5 now
on select admin computers.
Users experiencing this issue are connected to a hosted Exchange
server. All Entourage accounts are setup per the host's specs.
Troubleshooting:
We added one of the user's accounts (who was having the crashing issue)
to a brand new machine. We let the email sync and clicked on one of
the emails that crashed Entourage on her computer and it again crashed
Entourage on a totally new computer running Entourage 11.2.1
Using Outlook Web Access, the emails open fine on any computer.
I upgraded the test machine with her email account on it to 11.2.5, and
the "random" messages from the client still crashed Entourage. There
is no info about the crash - Entourage just blinks off and we get a
window that informs us it crashed with a "relaunch" checkbox.
Also some of the emails received from the client which crash Entourage
have attachments and some don't.
All computers are running OSX 10.4.7 and have >512MB RAM.
I'm stumped.
