100% CPU when opening mails

Mike buck

Hi

I am using Outlook 2002, I have noticed that my email gets slower and slower as I open more and more emails during the day, when i watch my task manager it wil steadily climb the CPU usge evey time I open a mail, so the first email I open will use 12% then settle back down again, then i close that and open another one and it wil use 26% and so on, by the time I have opened 10 emails it is using 100% cpu and can take up to 1 minute to open a 3 line test email, if Outlook doesn't stop responding

I have installed all the latest windows and Office updates but this still happens

Please help as outlook is unusuable at the moment

Thank

Mike
