Hi,

My wife has produce a 130 MB power point file which she wants to
transfer via email - which is not possible of course!

What I don't understand is, why is this file so big?? There are just
about 10 jpegs in it, but the size of each is 200k maximum! What is in
this file to make it so big?

I found this http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA011168821033.aspx
document of microsoft, but it does not really help me, as it does not
explain how to turn off review for a given file. I've got powerpoint
2002 and in menu Tools ->Options there is no preferences-tab where i
can set email options.

this whole problem cost me now 3 hours and i still see no way to
reduce the size of this damn file. please help! it's rather urgnt.

thanks,
Stephan

Couple of things to try (I'm assuming 2002/2003 version?)
Tools > Options > Turn off "Enable Fast save" and never ever turn it back on

In the picture toolbar choose comress picture icon > compress all > web format

If this fails cut each pic and "Paste special" as a jpg see if that helps.
