Is it possible to have 2 IF statements in the same cell?

Hi Carla

yes, if they're related
e.g.
=IF(A1="cat","meow",IF(A1="dog","woof","unknown animal"))

Jack Schitt

You can nest them up to 7 deep. If you find yourself wanting to do more
than about 3 deep then there is usually a better approach.
