2001 - Menu Blink on error

Hi,
On every error retrieving new mail, the application menu blinks.
Is there any way to stop this?

I don't need to be alerted when an error occurs, I don't care at all! In
fact it's a real pain!

NOTE: Remove 'NOSPAM' from the reply-to address to contact directly

Go to Edit > Preferences > General. Under the "Notification" tab, uncheck
the option to "Animate icon", and click OK.

This "Animate icon" option seems not available for my version:
2001 v9.0.1 / OS 9.2.2

Nothing is checked on this preference pane.

Anything I'm missing?

Oh, sorry. The icon will always blink in the application menu when there is
an error. The preferences there control only when new mail is received.
Unfortunately I don't know of a way to work around that.
