OK, here's why I never upgraded my Entourage. I tried the test-drive of
2004, and when I imported my address book, it lost all the categories and
links between people - thousands of data that I use daily. Any way to import
this info from 2001? Or to sync with apple's Address Book?

Someone I saw somewhere suggested using a Filemaker database instead....?

Take a look at Paul Berkowitz's Import-Export script suite - its shareware,
but you get a couple of weeks free use first.

Available from scriptbuilders.

Actually, this one does not get 14 days free use, since 99% of the people
buying it use it just once to import their data as a once-off (most of them
from Outlook Windows when switching to Mac). I'd never sell any if I allowed
2 weeks free use! You do get free Demo use of 25 contacts with all Contacts
scripts (import, export, convert) so you can see how it works before you
buy.

The Sync scripts - i.e. Sync Entourage-Address Book and Sync Entourage-iCal
- do allow 14 days free use, so a once-off import that way _is_ free.
Available from scriptbuilders.
