2002 as Default after upgrading to 2003

OK, you rarely see a question from me... but maybe someone has already
figured this out, and I am out of time.

I installed the upgrade to 2003 and kept 2002 (and 2000) installed. I have
been over and over it.... including registry entries that I *thought* would
do it... BUT

I want PPT 2002 to be the default association when you double click on a PPT
file. Can't seem to change it!

anyone figured out how?

TAJ,

You assumed wrong! WOW... it's been a little while since I learned a new
little trick. Thanks!

Windows XP - - if you copy the full path of
PowerPoint 2002 to the clipboard, e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office
2002\Office10\POWERPNT.EXE, you can then go to Windows Explorer, Tools >
Folder Options > File Types > PPT > Advanced and select Open. Click on Edit
and paste the path into the application path. But don't disturb the quotes
or the "%1" switch. Do the same for New, Print, etc., to meet your taste.

If you're switching back and forth from 2002 to 2003, though, you might need
to create a shortcut to each version. I had to do that during the beta, but
it may have been related to the beta itself or just to something specific to
my system.
