2003 not able to use Word 2002 as editor

I recentely upgraded my Outlook client to 2003. Upon
doing so, I lost the ability to use Word as my email
editor. In Tools/Options/Mail Format/Message Format,
there are Word 2003 choices "greyed out" for using Word
2003 as editor or reader for messages. I don't have Word
2003. I have Word 2002 and I still want to use it as my
editor for email messages. How to fix other than
purchasing Word 2003?

You can't. In order to use Word as your email editor, the versions of
Outlook and Word must be the same.
