2003 office pro admin install again

W

Wild Man^^

Got another question. I've realized that the Office 2003 Pro installer
doesn't add Frontpage. You have to do it seperately. Is there a way that I
can seemlessly install it after the main suite? Can I just run both
installs consecutively (setuppro /transfer=blah, then setupfpg
/transform=blah)? Is there a way to force setuppro to install frontpage?
Any suggestions?

Hi Wild Man,

With the MS Installer each packaged product (.MSI file)
is deployed as a package as later updates (.MSP files)
will be designed to look for and match to a specific
product. For Office System 2003 FrontPage isn't included
in any of the Suite sets, but you can chain the install
using the information in the Office 2003 Resource Kit,
such as this approach:
http://microsoft.com/office/ork/2003/two/ch5/DepD02.htm

You could run the commands with a script or batch file
in which case you'll need to be sure that they're setup
to run in sequence (i.e. one task must finish before the
next one starts).
