2004 11.1 Database Utility bug

I upgraded Entourage 2004 with the 11.1 updater, and now there's a bug with
the Database Utility. After Rebuilding the Database, Entourage showed
messages that I had already thrown away (and emptied the trash), but it
shows these messages with the wrong Subject line, plus the message was all
screwed up with sentences out of order or missing and the headers showing
(which they don't normally show in the body of the message) but incorrectly.
What's up?

It just highlights the fact that there was corruption in the database before
you tried to rebuild it. The rebuild routine has done it's best top untangle
the spaghetti, but has obviously 'guessed' wrongly at which ends should have
been attached to which strands at some points.

If a database is corrupted in this way (any database, not restricting this
to entourage), trying to untangle the data blocks in the file when you can't
rely on the index is a matter of guesswork at best, pure blind luck at
worst!
