2004: MLM & Rules duking it out

G

Gnarlodious

I'm using Entourage 2004, but there's a prob with mailing List Manager and
Rules.
I have 4 Yahoo Groups I run a script on as per MLM, these mails all end up
in the assigned folders.
The 2 lists that are NOT assigned a script refuse to go into their olders

Rules are run on all these messages.

Haven't really spent too much time on the problem, but is it a known bug?
Some newfangled feature sabotaging my settings?

No. But folders are identified by ID. It's possible that when you upgraded
to 2004 and your database got converted that folders were assigned new IDs.

Just set the folders to "Inbox", quit MLM, open it again, and reset the
folders to what you want. If that still doesn't work, delete those two MLM
entries, then recreate them anew. They might be corrupted.

Well, I've tries all sorts of tricks to no avail.
I deleted all folders, erased all Mailing List , rebuilt the database,
rebooted and pretty much exhausted all possibilities.

2 mailing lists refuse to go to their folders.

Maybe they're not really mailing lists?
