2007: Opening an Address Book...

The first thing you do is post a question with enough clarity and detail
that someone can figure out what you're asking. Outlook does not even have
an address book so your post requires considerable clarification.

My question arises from the sad circumstance of my unfamiliarity with some of
the terminology you use; and my question is exactly this:

In an earlier post I mentioned this step that I went through:
---------------------------------------------------------
[Quote A] “In each of [my Contact] folders' Properties, I've marked the
checkbox that reads, “Show this folder as an e-mail Address Bookâ€

Later, you said:
------------------
[Quote B] “For autoresolution to work, you must still configure the Outlook
Address Book Service.â€

Is what I described in Quote A the same procedure you make reference to in
Quote B?

If you already followed them and your Outlook Address Book is working, what
exactly was your question?

Yes. But your original question indicated that Contacts weren't appearing in
your address book view. I assume that's not really the case, then?

Your assumption is correct. It is *not* the case that my contacts were not
appearing in my "Address Book." Stated another way: my contacts *were*
appearing in my address book once I knew enough to select the "Name only"
radio button within the Address Book dialogue window. Apparently, I was
unsuccessful when I tried clarifying this in my second post.

In any case, thank you very much for your help... and patience!
