the two accounts (one POP and one IMAP) have seperate inboxes but share the same sent, deleted, outbox and Junk boxes. I want each idenity to have it's own boxes.

Also I can't figure out how to delete my email in my IMAP account. It puts a line through it but doesn't delete it

what do I do?

Your POP account will use the INBOX, Deleted Items, Junk E-mail, and Outbox
that can be found "On My Computer."

Your IMAP account can be configured to use any folders you like in Tools >
Accounts > (your account) > Advanced > Special Folders. The exception to
this is the Outbox - you can only have one Outbox.
Also I can't figure out how to delete my email in my IMAP account. It puts
a line through it but doesn't delete it

Tools > Accounts > (your account) > Advanced > Delete Options.
