-2147024896 Automation error - The handle is invalid

Hi,
I am creating word document using CreateObject("Word.Application­")

function (Visual Basic). It works fine but on very rare occasions it
throws
"-2147024896 Automation error - The handle is invalid" . Could any one
help me in saying what could be the problem.


Please Note: Previously the word version was 2000 and SP3 was recently
installed. Will it be a problem?
