2nd level of bullets won't say put

F

forbes

Hi everyone,
Here is my problem:
I have two levels of bullets. (They are in two separate text blocks.)
Everything is lined up as I want it to be; but when I close PowerPoint
and open it again. My second level of bullets has lots of indentation
in it.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Forbes,
Forgive me for asking but why did you use two separate text blocks? You can
have different levels of bullets using a placeholder. Just use that tab key
to get a second level.
Even when you draw a textbox yourself using the textbox icon on the drawing
toolbar you can have different levels in the same box. Draw a box, choose a
bullet using Format - bullets and numbering - hit OK, that's your first
level, now adjust the indent in the ruler. Just drag the two bottom carat
thingies to your right. Now hit enter and press tab, the same bullet will be
used for the second level, go to the menu and choose another bullet, now
adjust the indent again. Drag the top carat to the left using the ctrl+key
till it is just above the bottom two carats of the first level. Drag the
remaining two bottom carats of the second level if needed.
If I misunderstood your question, post back.

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? Has the template been created in
an older version or on a Mac? If so: Re-create the template in YOUR version
of PowerPoint. You may copy graphics used in the master, you may NOT copy
text formatting but apply it freshly with the Format menu.

Best regards,
Ute
