3D page turn help wanted...

I'm trying to do a series of animations in a slide, where basically the
background is a rendered 3D book lying open. The text on each page is a text
box. My plan is to set it up so that 'on click' the page turns over,
displaying the next 2 pages of text and so on and so on...
Does anybody have any idea how I may be able to achieve this effect using
powerpoint 2003?

This will be a somewhat complex animation.
- First you will need to render your page in at least 3 stages; open, half
way turned, 3/4 turned. In addition you need to double the width of the
canvass so when the final image has a motion path applied you can have the
page rotate/hinge at the inside of the page. Save as .png with transparency.
- Insert all three stages of the page turning.
- Animate the OPEN page with a motion path + emphasis of grow/shrink
- Have the HALF WAY page fade in as the OPEN page fades out and apply a
motion path + grow shrink to continue the 'page turning'
- Have the 3/4 page fadin in as the HALF page fades out and apply a motion
path + grow shrink to finish the 'page turning'

This is not an easy concept to explain, or accomplish. You will need to be
using the Advanced Timeline in the animation pane to adjust when each fades
in and out.

Simple would be to eliminate the motion path and grow/shrink animations and
simply have one fade in to the other.
