3rd party app to access Exchange Calendar?

ARRRRGGGGHHH!

I am trying my best to completely migrate away from my Windows box and
use my PB to do all of my work but I need to view the calendars of my
coworkers. I am using Entourage for e-mail but have to have a Windows
box at my desk to look at the shared calendars in Office 2003.

Does anyone know of any 3rd party apps for OS X that would allow shared
calendars from Exchange to be viewed?

Why did MS drop this feature? Why not make a version that is the same
as Office 2003 but for the Mac with all the same features? Just
doesn't make sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It wasn't dropped. It hasn't been implemented yet. The announcement in
January said that a free update to Entourage "in the second half of the
year" will improve Exchange calendar features, so there's a pretty good
chance it's coming.

Entourage is not a "version" of Outlook - it's a completely separate
application. Everything has had to be built from scratch. It was a decision
way back in 1998 or so not to try to implement the MAPI protocol, as used by
Outlook, on the Mac, fro email, since MAPI is an outmoded protocol on the
way out and not very good for email, that led eventually to using WebDAV
protocol (same as what Apple uses for iDisk) when Entourage became MS's
Exchange app on the Mac OS X in 2003.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Be patient until the update is released later in the year.

Snerdwares GroupCal kind of works.
They have a freebee version that views only, but it doesn't show
specifics.

I almost rolled it out to my 70 mac users, but it has some issues.
Entourage turned out to be the lesser of the two evils.

Thanks for the answers guys. I guess I will wait paitently until the
update comes out and see if that works.
