4gig limit reached, cant open original database

I reached my 4 gig limit, entourage rebuilt/compressed the database and now
all of the emails in many of the inbox subfolders are missing ­ the inbox
folder itself though is fine. When I try to open the old database it just
says that it is 4 gigs and needs to be rebuilt. How do I access my original
database to copy over essential emails.

I don¹t believe there is a way with Entourage X. You can upgrade to
Entourage 2004. There is no limit in 2004.
