The question I have is about database corruption. I backed up my
entourage 2004 user data folder to an external firewire, then reloaded
my computer software.
To prevent confusion and bring my system back to the original state I
then moved my backed up firewire microsoft user data back to my hard
drive user/documents folder and overwrote the one made a few minutes
ago from reimaging my drive. Upon startup, Entourage gives me a -8796
error, indicating database corruption and can't open. How could it be
corrupt? I'm just moving the original documents folder back.
Rebuilding does not seem to do anything. Did I not do the backup
right? I rebuilt the database before I did my backup.
