97 Timing Out of Sync in 2003

I have a Powerpoint 97 Presentation which has custom animations that have
certain timings/delays etc but when it is viewed in Powerpoint 2003 the
animations and timings are out of sync.
I have SP2 for Office 2003 and have downloaded updates but this has not
sorted the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to rectify this, i would be very
grateful.

Juls,
There were several changes between 97 and 2000 with respect to the behavior
of animation. You might want to check up the Microsoft knowledge base for
the same.
