98 & 00 Version Comparison

Hi,

I'm creating a Master Project and am running on MSP 2000, however it's been
decided (since some don't have 2000) for everyone to use 98.

I've only ever used 2000 or greater and am concerned re. what is going to be
lost when I save to 98.

I'm using MSP in a rather basic way, but have incorporated 3 flag fields and
2 text fields for each workstream plan.

Could someone please let me know what are the major differences between the
2 versions.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

- Deadlines don't exist in 98
- Customized fields (formula, Value list, grphical indicators) did not exist
in 98

I don't think there will be more troubles for what may be as you say "a
basic usage"

In addition to what Jan mentioned, 98 is limited to a maximum of 9 levels of
indent in the WBS outline and material resources don't exist (as I recall).
