ACC2003 Report: detail area background color

I have got a report, which has only one entry per grouping element, which,
however, is printed in multiples lines.

While it is easy to apply different background colors for different
detail-elements (for better readability), I can't figure out, how to do this
for different lines in the same detail-element.

Any ideas anybody?

First set the BackStyle property of all of the control in the detail
section to transparent.

Then drag the report width to the full width of the paper used, minus
the width of the margins.

Next add a rectangle control to the detail section extending across
the full width of the report, and the height of just one row. Give it
whatever backcolor you wish. Set the BackStyle of the rectangle to
Normal. Click on Format + SendToBack.

Select the rectangle, then copy and paste it. Drag this new instance
down over the 2nd row of controls. Change it's BackColor to whatever
you want. Send this rectangle to the back also.
Continue for each additional row.
