Accepting Meeting Requests in Calendar from Windows Users

Hello!

THE SPINNING BALL OF DEATH! That's what we get whenever any of my Mac users
accept a meeting request from a Windows user. The issue appears to be when
Entourage 2004 does it's Send & Receive check. Entourage hangs at, or during
the Calendar sync, and that great ball of death spins and spins and spins...
You can tell because if you look at the bottom right hand corner, you can
see where and what it's syncing. It hangs right at Calendar. Can someone
tell me why this is happening?! I've actually seen it happen right before my
very eyes. All the user did was accept a meeting. We then checked to see if
it appeared on the date of the request, which it did. And as soon as
Entourage synced, the spin began!

If someone can shed some light on this I would GREATLY appreciate it.

We've had to revert our users that need to use meeting requests back to
Outlook in classic mode because of this!

Okay... How about this...

What if I were to select "Don't Synchronize Items to Server" under the
advanced tab in Exchange?!

I tried that option on one of my users and it put death to a halt!

What repercussions, if any, would we encounter by setting the sync to that?

Is there a way to search and only delete all accepted meeting requests in
the Entourage 2004 Calendar?

Does anyone know where accepted meeting requests go (in what folder if any)
once they are accepted?
