Access DB

I have an access DB (2002) on my site. I double click it and it starts a
local instance of the DB in Access 2002 on my machine.

When I close access and DB FP 2002 ALWAYS wants to transfer the DB I was
viewing and save it to the site.
Sometimes I want FP to save the DB on website, sometimes I don't.

This happens even if no new data is added and I tell access not to save any
changes to DB.

How can tell FP whether to save DB or not?

Thanks in advance
Tony

When you open any file (requiring another editor) in FP, FP creates a temp version to track changes so it can recognize the changes
when you close the app
- if access is set to compact / repair on close the db is updated, so FP should be updating your DB

Usually FP creates the temp in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir

Export the database to your machine. Then you can choose whether or not to
re-import it back to the web.
