What are my options if I want to access the same Entourage database from 2 computers (my desktop and my laptop). I do not have exchange. I tried putting the database on a shared drive on the network, but when I access it, It opens the local "main Identity". I want to be able to see my sent email on both machines, and be able to read email when offline (so IMAP is not ideal). Any suggestions? Any other email applications (other the Entourage) that will allow this (like Thunderbird)?

Thank you!

You were on the right track. Keep your Identity on the shared drive and make
an alias of it in your local Documents folder (Microsoft User Data). You may
need to choose Switch Identity from the Entourage menu and choose the one
you're trying to use.

I suspect it's unwuse to try to access the same database on both computers
simultaneously. Make sure you're only using one copy of Entourage at a time,
and you may also have to quit out of My Day and the Database Daemon.
