I just reinstalled Access XP on Windows XP...
I get the following message whenever I try to create a new file, or open an
existing file:
"Microsoft Access"
"Workgroup Administrator couldn't create the workgroup information file.
Make sure that you have specified a valid path and file name, that you have
adequate permissions to create the file, and that you have enough disk space
on the destination drive. (-3100)
|OK|
After I select OK, I get this message:
"Microsoft Access"
"Microsoft Access couldn't find the file '(garbage characters here)'. This
file is required for startup.
|OK|
Any Ideas on how to fix this?
I installed all MDAC and JET updates recently.
MS Office and XP are all up to date with all updates.
PLEASE HELP!!!
