O
Orlando
I recently upgraded from WIN 98 using Access 97 to a new computer using win
XP home still using ACCESS 97. In the former, I was able to, via a link on a
form, to open an image file stored in another directory. This image file
would open using ACDSee which I had installed as my default image browser -
everything worked fine.
In the new system, this same link opens the image, but this time it opens
using Internet explorer. If I double click the image file in WINDOWS
explorer, it opens using ACDSee as I want it to.
I have contacted ACDSee and they have stated that it is a configuration
problem in Access and are unable to provide any assistance.
If someone is using ACDSee or can provide some assistance, I would welcome
it.
Thank You,
Orlando
