I have reached the 2Gb database limit in Entourage and now get an
error-40 read/write message when I try to start Entourage. I have
repaired all permissions and have established it is this size limit
causing the problem as removing the existing database file and allowing
Entourage to create a new user database one works fine. I want to
extract the information in the database file of the contacts and
perhaps remove excess information (eg attachments from sent emails etc)
to reduce the size of the database and therefore repair it and get
going without losing too much information.
Is there a way to access this database information or repair the
database now the 2Gb limit has been reached, or do I just have to start
from scratch again? I am using Entourage X.
