Accessing Entourage from Mac User accounts

We have an old iMac, running Tiger 4.9. We are using Entourage
Version 10.1.0(2006). For years we did not use the user accounts
feature on our Mac and everyone just logged in under one Mac account
(my wife's administrator account). So for Entourage we set up
different accounts for each of us (I would call them mail boxes) and
we receive emails in each separate inbox. We just decided to set up
Mac accounts and have done that (to accommodate parental controls via
Bumper Car). Problem is I cannot seem to get the Entourage settings
so that when it opens under a newly created Mac account, that user's
mailbox is there. Instead, Entourage loads as if it is the first time
with no data, or mailboxes/accounts set up. Surely I don't have to
set up "new" accounts for each user, or "import" all the data. I
thought Entourage was based on one database that could be accessed via
the multiple users contemplated by Mac. What have I missed? Any
suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

This is way outdated. Entourage X latest is 10.1.9. Add to that Entourage X
is End of Life and is no longer supported. It doesn¹t support the latest
Daylight Saving Time changes. There was a workaround that you can apply.

YouŒve missed the boat. :)

Each Identity is separate even under one User account. Now you have multiple
Users and expect them to see what¹s in another User account? The whole
concept of multiple Users is that each person¹s data is private. In
Entourage each Identity is also a separate file that can¹t be seen or
accessed by another Identity.

You could move the Microsoft User Data folder to each User¹s Documents
folder via Shared and then delete other account info to get to that users
mail.
