Accessing shared items on Exchange server.

I am using an Exchange account for email witch is also connected to a Active
Directory system. Also I am a happy Entourage user, and I have great
pleasure in using it as my main email and and planning software, and with
the latest Spotlight update it is unbeatable.

Now, to what I need help to solve. Browsing other users items, like Calendar
or Mail is usually working fine. Now on some users I get this error message:

«Could not find a mailbox for User .. User not found.»

This is when using the «Open other user's folder..» menu item. Regulary I
search for the user name in the directory, and the user gets looked up and
recognized with full name and everything, but still when I choose «Open» I
get this message.

User's affected is also not using the very same email addresses as the
others, but have their own domain.

I have researched a bit on the Outlook Web Access web page and here's what I
found. In OWA, browsing other users folder is a matter typing in the other
username/folder you wish to access:

http://mail.example.com/exchange/shortadusername/calendar

The problem users seem to have to user names, hence this does not work with
the problem users:

http://mail.example.com/exchange/shortadusername/calendar

But this works:

http://mail.example.com/exchange/[email protected]/calendar

Problem users use their short ad login info to the network, and also for
connecting through Entourage. Accessing problem users shared folder works
fine through Outlook, so it seems to be an Entourage issue.

I have tried to use «[email protected]» as the «Other user's folder» I wish
to access, but it looks like Entourage quickly searches for this «user» in
the LDAP, with no success, and denies the transaction.

So the question is,

Is it possible to force Entourage to open a shared folder?

Is there any mis-configuration, on server, client or both?

Anything?

Thanks for any help I can get.
