Accounts - Number?

Is there a maximum number of accounts one can have in Entourage? For
security reasons, my company¹s network has closed port 25 (SMTP) for all
except the designated internal email servers. However, I can send email
directly to our Sendmail server; but I need to create a send-only duplicate
of my mail accounts. So...I just wanted to know if there is a limit.

I don¹t believe there is any limit at all. I have had over 20 accounts
defined at times.

I believe it's 128.

Not any more.

I don¹t know about earlier versions, but I now have over 300 pop accounts
set up (plus several IMAP & News accounts), and they appear to be working
OK.

If there is a limit, it¹s far beyond any value that is likely to be attained
in practice.

OK, testing over - time to delete a few!
