Action Settings

I would like to get objects (simple text boxes or blocks) to disappear when I
click on them or pass the mouse over them in slide show mode. It looks like
"Object Action" is an option under Action settings, perhaps where I might
find the exit option for an object or action button - but Object Action is
not available in my window - it is light colored and I cannot use it.. Is
there some sort of add in I need, or do I need to set something up in another
menu to use this?

If you are using PowerPoint 2002 or 2003, you want an animation trigger. Set
the animation (exit or entrance) for the object and set the timing effect to
Trigger. If you are using an earlier version of PowerPoint, you might need
VBA to do this.

In PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 you can use an Exit animation from the Custom
Animation selections.
