Activate OLE Object From Button

I am looking to allow a user to click a button on a form that gets some key data then activates (opens in the native application in its own window) an associated OLE Object in a record related to the key data. The OLE Object is not to be opened or displayed in an Access form in any way. There is also no need to allow the user to edit the OLE Object then save it back to the record. This is a read-only reference document. Thanks for any help in advance.
