Activation Question

I've installed the Technet Plus trial version of Office
2003 on a stand-alone for evaluation. This system has no
Internet connection. When I first run any of the apps, I
get the product activation screen with the "activation by
telephone" option grayed out. Since there is no Internet
connection, I have no way to activate. Any solution?

I realize that Bill & Co. believe everyone and everything
are connected to the net, but there will always be
special-purpose boxes and networks that can't be
connected.

Hi K.,

Unfortunately, while the full product supports telephone activation
Microsoft chose to support only online activation in the trial copies
of Office 2003.

Makes my upgrade decision really easy!! If I can't even
evaluate it off-line, there's no way I will be able to
upgrade.

I can also save some money on my next Technet renewal,
since this makes the Technet Plus stuff pretty much
useless to me. Oh well, life with Big Brother goes on!
