Active Sync

I have recently purchased Outlook 07 and a HTC Pro Touch Phone. When I sync
I get an error message "Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem
and needs to close." When I close and restart there was no sync. My
contacts from the phone are still not listed in Outlook. I have uninstalled
and re-installed both active sync and outlook. What next?

did you look in event viewer for clues? what version of activesync are you
using?
