ActiveX Control Fails to Insert into PowerPoint 2000

Has anyone had the error message in the subject. I can find a paper on this
site relating to Office 2000 but this error appears whilst tryiong to insert
an Active X into a slide in Powerpoint. We are using Office 2003 Standard.

With PPT 2000, VBA support is optional during the install. I would check to
make certain it was installed.
