I have FP2003 and I am trying to add more descriptive word to the code for
the search engines. I payed for the web page design, but it won't let me add
to my code. I click on files menu and than properties, but there is no custom
tab that comes up, it says "private"

It sounds as if your designer may have used a Dynamic Web Template. If so,
you need to look for files with a .dwt extension and put your keywords in
those.

However, you should be aware that meta keywords are almost useless. They
were useful a few years ago, but then many, many sits started loading up
their pages with keywords that had nothing to do with the site content, but
seemed likely to bring in visitors.

To avoid being "fooled" that way, all up-to-date search engines now
concentrate on visible text, and not meta tags.
