Add a note to one occurrence of a recurring event

I want to add a bit of information to one occurrence of a recurring
event.

I tried opening the event but it would not let me add any text to what
I presume is a notes field and I cannot link a note to a single
occurrence.

All I want to do is type a few words!

The only thing you can modify with "Just one occurrence" of a recurring
event is the start time.

You can, however, delete "just this one" and then re-make a non-occurring
event for that date and time incorporating whatever else you want. (You
could use my "Duplicate Calendar Event X" script to make it easier.)

Maybe in a later version they'll let you make other modifications to single
occurrences. I hope so.

Thank you for your reply Paul.

I think we can agree that this could create more problmes than it
solves with events that are, to all intents and purposes, part of a
group but which do not get modified when the group is modified.

I am new to Entourage and I am a reluctant user trying to adhere to
school policy. There is so much for me to dislike in Entourage!
