Add-in causing PowerPoint closing error

I have been writing a plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint using C# .net.
I have placed a button on the toolbar within PowerPoint. Everything
works fine in XP and 2002 but fails with 2003. Even when I do not
execute my code I get an error when closing PowerPoint.
The only code being executed is the section placing my button on the
toolbar.
The error is "Microsoft PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
Any advice would be much appreciated
