Add numbers for duplicate entries then delete

Hi,

I have 3 cells A = part number, B = Discription, C = times ordered

Col A has duplicate entries
Col B has variences for discription (i.e. screw and wood screw both ar
the same part number)
Col C times ordered (screw 32 and wood screw 14)
I want to add the duplicate part number totals and display them on
time without the discription.
Before:
A..................B
1234............2
1234............3
1235............1

After:
A..............B
1234........5
1235........1

Any help is greatly appreciated
