add power point slide to movie or video

I am taking power point slide and trying to add to digital video using Adobe
Premere
Unfortunatly when I save a slide as JPEG and import it onto a timeline it is
not clear and not readable. Is there any other way you can save the slide and
import it into a timeline? My editing computer does not have MS office or
power point. If you know any other software that would allow me to import
excel table in Adobe that will help too.
